DIVORCE
Prepare for all-out war! Sometimes, but it definitely is not necessary. If you are at the point of divorce then communication between you and your spouse has broken down and at least one of you believes that you cannot work together to unwind the marriage. If you truly cannot work together than you are in divorce; the process whereby all issues of the marriage are litigated and decided by a Judge or Magistrate. You can expect to go through mediation, parenting education, parenting investigations, several settlement conferences, temporary custody and support motions during the pendency of the divorce, discovery disputes, property appraisals, pretrial conferences leading to trial and at the end of it we all may need to go to confession. Do not make the mistake of believing you can go through this process on your own. However, the attorney you choose can make divorce more difficult. I can negotiate fair and equitable terms or litigate better ones.
