GRANDPARENT / THIRD PARTY RIGHTS

Grandparents and third parties related to a child may be granted companionship or visitation rights by the court.  The Court, however, should be your last resort. Litigation places children in an emotional tug of war, which parents/legal guardians tend to win, regardless of what the court grants.    These rights are more meaningful when negotiated with the child’s parent/legal guardian.  The Firm can negotiate fair and equitable terms or litigate better ones.
